The first shot is of a low angle shot of a women walking up the stairs in a glamerous, upperclass dress shop. She is wearing a grey sophisticated looking suit showing that she is wealthy, and we also establish that she is the main person setting the con up. This shows that the women can handle a mans job and shows how the gender role has swapped. The scene then carries on with a middle-aged women asking about the price of the dress and she realises that it is out of her price range, she has scruffy hair and the she is speaking to a male shop assistant which establishes bionary opposited a sale assistant in a dress shop is usually a women, however, in this case it is a man. The middle ages women is wearing a red jacket which shows that she is significant as the colour red is a very important and shows how she needs to be watched. The shop assistant makes it clear to the womenhow she should not be in the shop by the way the camera is positioned, it is positioned as a low angle shot and the shop assistant is looking down at the women and she walks away
The man then turns around looking towards the women in the grye suit, the camera zooms in on her hand and the audience recognises the large diomand ring that she is wearing, the man walks towards her as he sees an opportunity to sell to her an expensive dress. while he is talking to her the camera changes zooms out establishing a long shot and the camera is at an equal level showing that they are equal gender and class. He goes to bring the dress and the next thing we see is the camera panning up from her shoes showing the expensive dress, this is sexualsing her, showing that women are still being portrayed sexually. The next scene we see is the sales man packing the dress away for her, and she realises that she 'lost' her ring, the con is set up, and the women starts acting out of camera as she starts messing the shop up trying to find the ring and circus music starts playing, showing the un-glamerous side to her. She says to the male assistant she will give five grand to him when he finds it, she also speaks directly to the camera, which shows that she is devious and is up to something.
The next scene is of a blonde guy coming into a shop while the shop assistant is on the floor looking for the ring, the camera is a long angle showing how the guy is looking down towards the shop assistant which contrast to how the sale man was looking down towards the women before. The man plants the ring which sets up the con and the audience see's this and realises that the man is going to get money out of the sales man for finding the ring. The camera is a low angle of the guy and the sales man is looking down to the women showing that he thinks the guy is lower than him, even though he gave in and gave the guy money.
The last scene is of the women who started the con waiting in a cafe for the other guy showing that he conned the man into giving him money for the ring that he supposedly found.
